Pricing questions, answered
Is Machool really free?
Yes. The Machool platform has no monthly fee and no contract. You create an account for free and only pay for the shipping labels you buy at our pre-negotiated carrier rates. Optional add-ons are the only paid extras, and they are entirely up to you.
How does "pay only for labels" work?
When you buy a shipping label through Machool, you pay the carrier rate for that shipment. There is no platform markup and no minimum volume. Ship a few packages a month or hundreds a day, the platform stays free either way.
What do the add-ons cost, and can I combine them?
Bring Your Own Account is $0.07 per package when you ship on your own carrier contracts through Machool. Return Center is $19.99 per month for a branded, self-serve returns portal. Both are optional and can be used together on the same free account.
Is the developer API included?
Yes. Full API access is part of every free account at no extra cost, so you can automate rate quoting, label creation, and tracking directly from your own store, ERP, or internal tools.
What about pickups and insurance?
Package pickup is available from your account. Shipment insurance is offered through our partnership with Marsh, giving you cost-effective coverage and a simple claims process when you need it.
